How can BNI help my business?
BNI is an opportunity for businesses to network with other businesses. BNI provides the opportunity for all involved to gain insight into each other's businesses and so help them grow through referrals.
The more our members know you, the better equipped we are to refer your business to our clients, friends and families. As a part of this relationship you are also better equipped to refer other members. When you have reliable contacts in other industries to fill your clients needs, helping them makes you look good!
What are the benefits to joining?
Referrals, referrals, referrals! Being a member allows you to build relationships with other businesses. Building connections with other businesses within the community helps everyone involved. Solid relationships provide all involved a better opportunity to refer one another and build each others businesses through referral.
Being a member of a group of businesses also provides a setting in which we can all learn from each other.
What is the cost to join?
There is a $100 registration fee and an annual fee of $365. There is a discount if you sign up for two years at $565.
Can I represent more than one business?
Each individual member can represent only one company. You could however have a second individual join as a representative of the second company.
Can I join more than one chapter?
The short answer is no. You can however visit other chapters as a visitor and full member of BNI.
You can have a second individual join another chapter as a representative of your company.
Can I join if there is already a member in my field?
The short answer is no. Each member fills the seat for their industry, as such there can only be one member of a chapter in any given field.
If you find this to be the case, we would encourage you to seek out another chapter who has a need for your industry.
Do I have to come to every meeting?
Each member is allowed two absences per six month term, having someone stand in for you is not considered an absence.
You can have someone fill in in for you should you not be able to attend a meeting. That individual will make your 60 second presentation in your place, and can also give a 60 second presentation of their own as a visitor.
Why meet so early?
Our meeting time allows us to start our day with a little networking and referral, before the business day begins. As such we can conduct a regular day of work as well as attend the meeting.
